That’s why Ashgrove West Kindy is committed to becoming carbon neutral, and one of a very few kindergartens certified against the Climate Active Carbon Neutral Standard. Climate Active is a partnership between the Australian Government and Australian businesses to drive voluntary climate action.
Climate Active certification is awarded to organisations that have achieved a state of net zero emissions, otherwise known as carbon neutrality. We have prepared a carbon footprint, had our activity data independently verified, reduced our carbon emissions as much as possible, and then invested in projects that reduce emissions being released into the atmosphere.
